As a result of our acquisition of Taylor, Simpson & Mosley, Solicitors of Derby, we are seeking an experienced Probate Solicitor for our Derby office, who will be looking to take on a demanding role in one of the East Midlands leading Wills, Probate and Elder Client Departments.

 

The successful applicant will take on an existing caseload of Estate Administration, Wills and Court of Protection applications, and will have a pivotal role to play in tax planning and the formation and management of Trusts. Accordingly, STEP membership, although not essential, is desirable.

RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY VACANCIES – CHESTERFIELD

 

Due to the expansion of our busy Residential Property Department in Chesterfield, we are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals for the following positions. Our practice has a fully developed conveyancing case management system, across our practice wide network, so previous experience in such systems as well as MS Office applications would be a distinct advantage, but not essential. We are looking to the long term development of the department and we are keen to appoint the right members to our conveyancing team.

 

CONVEYANCER


We are seeking a hard working and competent individual experienced in all aspects of residential conveyancing. The ability to work as part of a team in a demanding team environment and also to manage their own caseload effectively is essential. As the applicant will also be expected to work without a secretary, typing skills are essential.

 

TRAINEE CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT

 

The successful applicant will be a team player with good administration, IT and communication skills since the role will involve significant contact with clients, both face to face and by telephone. The role requires an applicant with an enthusiastic personality who is motivated and confident.

 

Previous conveyancing experience is not essential, as appropriate training will be given to the successful applicant.

 

Due to our high service levels we would also require applicants to be reliable, organised and extremely efficient.
